Pro Life is a little more complicated than a lot of people think.
Abortion starts with misogyny. Look it up.
Don't have a dictionary?
Here you go.
mi·sog·y·ny [mi-soj-uh-nee, mahy-]
noun
hatred, dislike, or mistrust of women.
Without misogyny, abortion and human trafficking for prostitution would not exist. But there is plenty of 'Christian amnesia" about what an Imitation of Christ really is.
Some guy named J Christ said it best... When asked "Teacher, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what say you?" So when they continued asking him, he lifted himself up, and said unto them, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her."
When Jesus had lifted himself up, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, "Woman, where are those your accusers? has no man condemned you?" She said, "No man, Lord."
And Jesus said unto her, "Neither do I condemn you: go, and sin no more."
Doesn't sound much like misogyny to me.
Doesn't sound like he threw her out of town, or fired her, or expelled her (or stoned her, either). Does it?
If you are Pro Life, you might want to educate a pregnant girl when she needs it most; or might want to make sure a pregnant woman can keep her livelihood and possibly insurance when she needs it most; or not throw a daughter out of the house just when she needs the support and care of her family most.
If you like to bully and control women, you are NOT pro-life.
The equation comes out to something like this:
ELIMINATING MISOGYNY COULD ELIMINATE RAPE AND ABORTION.
Frankly, it would mean a lot more but for the purpose of this discussion, there you are.
